Anyone in the DC Metro who has ventured across state lines, has at least driven past The Old Store at Lucketts. It’s like an institution and has gone through some major rebranding to increase its cool factor in recent years (although I remember the days when it was pretty rundown). It’s the place I bought the vintage door which I turned into a desk. You could say, it’s where The Restored Dogwood was born.
To survive Covid times, they opened an online shop as well as having in store shopping. And by in store I actually mean, on property, because there is a significant portion of Lucketts which is sitting outside in little huts, and even out in the elements. It has old, new, expensive, cheap and everything in between. You can buy a designer furniture piece for a few thou, or a rusty garden architectural piece for a steal. Follow them in IG for up to date listings…but it’s best to see in person as often as you can!
